A wonderful, romantic place with a nice garden to sit in quietness. Food is homemade and always fresh. The portions are big and you get good quality for your money. (One of our favourite places  😉  …) Just a two minutes walk from Town Square.

“Leśniczówka” – Restaurant and Biergarten / Repty     Address

The former Duke Donnersmarks gardener house was reconcstructed into a small traditional restaurant. In the spaceous “biergarten” you can have traditional Polish food or grill yourself a pair of saussages on the open fire. We recomend “Schmalz”-Bread and salted cucumbers to the beer. Half an hour walk from Camp9 through the Park of Repty.

“Szara Oberża” – Restaurant / Repty                            Address

A place definitely to be experienced by yourself. The exterior is like the name says:”grey”, the interior looks like a puppet house… But the Italian style pizza is just amazing! Cold Czech beer from the tap is served in the beer garden. You wanna meet the locals? Here, you can do so. Eight minutes by bike from Camp9.

A five minutes bike ride from Camp9. Or you find the way through our back gate – than it´s a 15 minutes walk. The young owners serve – as the name says – Traditional Silesian Food. You like pork knuckle (Schweinehaxe) or “Rolada” with Sauerkraut and Knedle? Here you go!

“Pierogarnia u Kopackiego” – traditional Polish Food       Address

If you are up to real traditional Polish food, there´s no way around Pierogarnia in the middle of Tarnowskie Góry. It´s a little bit like a hop-in hop-out kind of fast food place, but the Chef – Maria Ożga – is creating a new menu every day and the atmosphere is cosy enough to stay a bit and enjoy the food. Everything is handmade and fresh. You can choose from different styles of Pierogi, stuffed cabbage rolls, Schnitzel with mushed potatoes and other delicious dishes. Prices are very acceptable.

“Gryfny Kafyj” – Coffee Bar / Tarnowskie Góry               Address

The local coffee heroes – directly at the Rynek. Three guys from high school had the idea to import Italian coffee and coffee machines. Turned out to be a burner. There´s almost always a little lineup – but it´s worth it. The young baristas are doing a great job preparing all kinds of different coffee. You want to have a shot of chilli in your cappuccino, no problem! Fresh pressed orange juice, ok. “Gryfnyj” is the place to be. See and be seen…  Here´s a little secret: Should you attend one of our Yoga workshops at Camp9, there´s a great chance you´ll have a delicious coffee from “the heroes” on our campsite terrace.
